By booking an experience, workshop, or tour with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking and Payment Policy

All experiences must be booked and paid for in advance through our official booking channels. Your reservation is only confirmed once full payment is processed, and you receive a confirmation email from Komorebi CE.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
At Komorebi CE, we coordinate with local artisans, historians, and workshops in advance to ensure a premium experience and respect their schedules. Therefore, the following cancellation fees apply based on when notice is given before the scheduled service:

- More than 7 days' notice: Cancellations made more than 7 days before the experience are eligible for a full refund (minus any third-party transaction or administrative fees).
- Between 7 days and 48 hours' notice: Cancellations made within this window will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the total booking value.
- Less than 48 hours' notice or No-Show: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the service, or failure to arrive at the designated time, will incur a 100% cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued.

3. Tax Exemption for International Tourists (19% VAT)

In accordance with Colombian law, international tourists residing outside of Colombia are exempt from the 19% Value Added Tax (VAT / IVA) on tourism services and packaged experiences.

  • Requirement: To qualify for this tax exemption, travelers must provide a digital copy or clear photograph of their valid passport, showing the official immigration entry stamp (such as the PT permission or tourist visa) prior to the start of the experience.

  • Important: If the proper immigration documentation is not presented to prove tourist status, we are legally required by Colombian tax authorities to charge the additional 19% VAT on the total cost of the booking.

4. Itinerary Changes and Responsibility Clause

Komorebi CE adheres to the liability clause of Decree 2438 of 2010

. We operate under a strict commitment to quality and heritage conservation.

  • Modifications: Since our experiences involve independent local artisan workshops and cultural venues, we reserve the right to modify the order of the itinerary or substitute specific workshops with alternatives of equal cultural value in the event of unforeseen local circumstances or force majeure.

  • Insurance: We highly recommend that all participants hold comprehensive international travel insurance. Komorebi CE is not liable for accidents, health issues, or loss of personal belongings outside the coverage of our standard local activity assistance.

5. Legal Compliance & Ethics

By reserving an experience, the user acknowledges that Komorebi CE operates under strict compliance with Colombian laws regarding sustainability and social protection. We actively reject the commercial sexual exploitation and abuse of minors (Law 679 of 2001), and we are deeply committed to preventing the illegal trafficking of cultural heritage (Law 397 of 1997) and wildlife species (Law 17 of 1981).
